We have appointments for sick children that can be seen in the same day. It is our goal to see every patient in a timely manner when they are in need. Newton Pediatrics will allow your child to be seen by a pediatric expert in our offices in Wellesley and Waltham, Massachusetts. You can easily skip the lines in urgent care or emergency department.

Why do we offer same-day visits?

We at Newton Pediatrics are committed to providing our patients with convenient, fast, quality care when they need it most. Your health is our priority. We offer same-day visits to make sure that you’re seen in the office in a timely manner. Bacterial or viral illness does not wait for anyone, therefore we are here to accommodate our patients and give them the highest level of care.
  • Upper respiratory symptoms such as cough, running nose, or shortness of breath.
  • Fever that has been more than 3 days and has not been evaluated.
  • Fever in children in less than 3 months of age. (Greater than or equal to 100.4 °F)
  • Wheezing
  • Injuries
  • Pain or blood with urination.
We offer in-housing lab testing which includes:
  • Covid
  • Flu (influenza)
  • RSV (respiratory syncytial virus
  • Pregnancy
  • HIV (human immunodeficiency virus)
  • H&H (Hemoglobin and hematocrit)
  • Lead
  • urinalysis
  • Glucose
  • TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone)
  • Mono (mononucleosis)
  • Stool occult blood

After hour emergencies:

When our offices are close and you need to speak to someone urgently, you can call to speak to our on-call providers. To reach us, call 617-564-0123. The answering service will relay messages to us. The on-call doctor will call you back promptly.
